Yosemite Meadows Campground is a wonderful place to stay, but how did it start?
Our Story
Our great, great, great grandfather was an explorer before Yosemite was even established as a national park. He staked his claim to this ground, with a dream that his posterity would be able to enjoy it as he did.
While this land is part of our heritage, we can't use it all the time. We decided to share our grandfather's dream with other people. We hope you enjoy it!
